Common questions
How do I restore Pro on a new iPhone?
Open the app, go to the Pro screen and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple account you bought Pro with.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Scrap Metal Intel. Apple handles refunds too.
My price alerts don't arrive.
Check that notifications are on for Scrap Metal Intel in your iPhone's Settings > Notifications, and that Focus or quiet hours aren't holding them back. If they still don't arrive, email us.
The app's price is different from my yard's price.
That's expected: the app shows exchange market prices, and yards pay a share of them by grade. Save your yard's real rate in the app's My Yard, or enter your yard's price in the payout calculator.
Is there an Android or web version?
Not yet. Scrap Metal Intel is for iPhone and iPad, and a web version is being considered. The calculators on this website work on any phone or computer.
