Website terms
Last updated Oct 14, 2026. These terms cover this website. The iPhone app has its own terms of use.
Information only
The calculators and guides on this site are general information. The site does not publish market prices. Calculator results are only as good as the numbers you enter. They are not offers to buy or sell, not what any scrap yard will pay you, and not financial, investment or trading advice.
Calculators and guides
Calculator results are estimates based on the numbers you enter. Your yard's scale, grading, deductions and prices decide what you are actually paid. Grade descriptions, copper shares and wire weights are rough guides; real scrap varies.
No warranty
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using it or relying on its calculations or guides.
Contact and law
The site is run by Andromeda Kinship LLC in Massachusetts, USA, and these terms are governed by Massachusetts law. Contact: support@andromedakinship.com.
